One year around the sun

One year around the sun.
Usually, my birthday is an easy time to reminisce and think about where I am in life and how I feel about things—this year especially made me think about spirals. To me, spirals are all about non-linear growth.
Feeling like you are in the same place, but on another level.
My needs have stayed the same, but my sense of being able to achieve them has shifted (in an attainable way). My main goals are the same as lasts years, but I have changed so much while taking the steps closer to achieving them. So this year, the biggest shift has been inward. I spent this year looking straight into and dissecting some of my deepest fears; I spent this year learning to appreciate all parts of myself.
This internal shift has made it easier for me to start a physical practice again. It’s funny, sometimes I think my body is adjusting to my internal landscape. Mentally, I am exactly where I want to be, and my physical body is catching up.
I finally understand that the way there is the destination. Maybe the goal is an illusion, and getting there is where it’s at.
One year around the sun.
And I am thinking a lot about change. This idea that change causes growth. Thinking about the importance of changing your mind, changing your opinion, change itself.
One year around the sun.
And I am thinking about love. Grateful for my families. The one I was born into, the one I created (with my hubs), and the one I chose (my friends).
One year around the sun.
Happy Birthday to me.
After an Instagram hiatus, I am back, and with that, a range of brands (that I forgot about) are slowly popping back into my feed. Nong Rak is one of them. This Thai label is fire! Ok, honestly, I love The Row and Sézane too, but I don’t understand why more people, newsletters, and magazines aren’t talking about these smaller labels that are making mind-blowing, special, beautiful pieces of clothing! I mean, look at this:

Oh and incase anyone was wondering… here a recap of things I bought in Copenhagen and Stockholm:
(This is extremely superficial, but these jeans!! It feels so good to have found my perfect pair!)

as always
much love to you all.
