Copenhagen and Stockholm
If you are new to this space, Hi. I’m Susan.
Welcome to my newsletter, welcome to my world. If you subscribe, you will receive a newsletter every other Friday, the newsletters always start with something that I have been thinking about a lot, and always end with the sections, beauty, joy, and rest.
Thank you for being here.
I actually wanted to write this newsletter from vacation, to give you all a carefree vibe, but I realised I can’t publish from my phone, or I can’t add images to a post via my phone… so this will be my first pre-written post. Not that it matters.
Since I will be in Stockholm and Copenhagen, I made a list of things that I want to try on, or things that I have wanted to order for a while, but I am not sure about the fit.
As you all know, I’m on a tight budget since I don’t have a steady income, so wish lists really help me: they keep me from going overboard in the first store, and give me a clear idea of what I actually want. 🙂
I’ll also just miss Copenhagen Fashion Week, which kind of sucks. It’s fun being in a city during fashion week, just to people-watch and soak up some inspiration. Plus the Paolina Russo show is open to all <3
Copenhagen
I will try to go to as many flea markets as possible, since most people that I know say you find all of the gems there! But other than that, these are the stores I really want to visit (Mr.Larkin will be closed so I won’t add it here).
- Skirt/Shirt
- This piece is almost a must-have, since it aligns with my minimal packing! You can wear it as a skirt or a shirt! How cool is that! But it is also definitely something that needs to be tried on, since I am not sure: if I wear it as a skirt, is it elastic enough that I can wear it as a shirt after?

Been following them on Instagram for a while, so just looking forward to going into the store. I am really into skincare, and wanted to test Mantle products. So I am happy to know that they have them here…
More dreaming for me: I have to try on one of the Caro Editions hats. I don’t think they will suit me, because my glasses are a bit too big, but these hats are to die for.

Always got to love a high-quality basic in beautiful colours. They have a lot of really nice cotton shirts. I have also been following Teira for a while now, and I always wanted to try on their Amalie Pants; they have them every season in different colours. Not sure the plum will suit me, but I still want to try it on :-) Got to love the grey and pink colour combo. Also this pink see-through skirt is cool, but I still haven’t figured out how to wear see-through skirts.

Stockholm
I wrote a whole post about these clogs, and now I can’t wait to go and try them on!
Even though I don’t go as crazy for Acne as I used to (I think the quality of their clothing decreased, plus they have so many polyester items compared to before), but still: when I am in Stockholm (this will be my second time), I just have to make a stop at the outlet :-)
I love Maja’s work and how she repurposes clothing. I have a pair of her pants that I wear whenever I don’t have time to dress up but still want to look “cool.” She doesn’t have a store in Stockholm, but her pieces are at Nitty Gritty, so I’m looking forward to seeing her new “art” there <3
Toteme is supposedly cheaper in Sweden, and you get around 12% back in tax refunds. Still, I can’t actually afford either of these jackets (Country Jacket, Oversized Cotton Trench) — but I want to go try them on anyway. Sometimes dreaming is the best part.

Beauty Joy Rest
These three blur together for me on vacation, especially while sailing. Most days we do nothing but enjoy each other’s company and spend 90% of our time outside.
As always
Much love
Susan
