on having clear boundaries, a brand I love, good music, and bedsheets

Vessels, containers and boundaries
I pulled the card “The Vessel” today, and have been thinking about this archetype.
A Vessel, a container. It holds what is inside it by creating a clear boundary with the outside. “Through the simple act of separation, the vessel protects what it contains”- Kim Krans.
So for something to be held correctly, it needs a clear boundary. Looking at my life, the first vessel that comes to mind is my body. Or even just me as a person. We are all unique, all different, and it is this uniqueness that causes separation. So through the act of separation, a vessel is created that protects what it contains…
How can I, or how do I, create a clear boundary to protect what I contain? If I am looking at myself as a vessel, do I still need a clear boundary? Or is it ok for the boundary to be fluid, to move? I guess the parts of me that make me me (my authenticity) need clear boundaries.
Do I need to define myself first in order to know what to protect? Maybe, but I don’t want to define myself. I think if I consciously try to define myself, I become restrictive. So instead, I am asking myself, what parts of me are being held together and how?
I really like this question…
What parts of me are being held together and how?
This will be a question that I will keep coming back to because, as I grow, the way I hold myself will always change. If I ask myself this question now, I have two parts. Parts of me that are held together with ease, and parts of me that I consciously need to hold together.
The parts of me that are being held together with ease, are my background, genuinely being excited about having flowers at home, listening to good music and getting super emotional, being annoyingly optimistic, being ecstatic when I’m in a store that has clothing I want, being a cream person (yes, I love slathering my body with oils, creams, or any concoction that smells good), and the list goes on and on and on and on…
Then there are the parts that I consciously need to hold together. These are parts of me that I am afraid to put out there. Some might come out, and that is ok. While others I am working on. For example, working on really saying what I think.
Because only through speaking my truth,
through showing these parts
making these parts visible, can I create a vessel around it. If I show these parts, I can create a separation. Allowing the outside world to authenticate me. If I show these parts, they make the boundaries of my vessel clearer.
So all of that makes me come to the conclusion that: I should speak my truth. Because, speaking my truth, makes me, me.
Vessel.
Container.
Me.
Separation.
You.
What parts of you are you holding together and how?
Below are things I find to be beautiful, joyous, and rest-inducing:
BEAUTY
Not a lot to say here other than, I am in loooove with this brand.
My number one item on the things pictured below are the clogs. At the moment, I have these clogs, but after 2 years, they are already breaking. So, I am on the lookout for new ones. Ones that are sturdier and will last longer. But the threshold to ordering shoes online is quite high (for me) because of the fit. I can always make clothes that I love fit me, but if shoes don’t fit well, I never wear them, and sending stuff back is just a hassle (especially if it has to cross a border).

The items pictured above are:
clogs, dolphin shirt, dove shirt, bikini bottom, surfboard: stockholm surf club x pussy surfboards, Knitted sweater, super cool pants, bikini top
JOY:
BLACK SABATH PLANET CARAVAN is what I am listening to on repeat at the moment. It is a song about floating through the universe with your loved one. Soooooooooooo good! Listen to it loud! Let this sink in. Enjoy.
REST
While researching bedding for my brand, I came across SUKU home… how cute are these sheets?

Hope you are all well.
As always much love
